Inca Bandsaw Manual
INCAWOODWORKING incawoodworking@groups.io
This is a group for people interested in INCA WOODOWOODWORKING MACHINERY. I originally started this group on the YAHOO GROUPS platform back in 2004 as a way for those of us who have invested in INCA power tools over years to share information, locate parts, and swap/sell INCA.Hopefully this will be a good resource for INCA Woodworking Machines.
Regards
Alan Maier

*INCA Automatic: 10.25' jointer/planer power feed - 343.190.xx US Model 510,550,560,570
There are at least 7-8 variations of the 10.25' J/P.
510 has separate motor under machine short tabes and planetary stock feed drive
550/560/570 have motor attached to side of machine.
The 550 started with 2 blade cutter head, then a three blade cutter head.
The 560 started with 2 blade tersa head.
The 570 had 3 blade tersa cutter head.
I have seen versions of the 560 and 570 with 2 and 3 cutters, both standard cutters and tersa cutter, probably a result of reconfigurations by Garrett Wade.
*INCA 3000: 20' Jointer/Planer - Garrett Wade had this J/P in the International Wood Working Show in Atlanta in the late 1980's. I picked up a brochure, and talked to Gary Chinn at the time. I do not think it was ever imported??

There are three different Mortise tables.
There are four different sliding tables.
lot of INCA stands and many accessories
I am not 100% sure, but I was told that the USA INCA Model numbers were established by Garrett Wade, the US importer. Most machines were sold in both US and Europe. Some machines such as the Rebating Jointer and Lathe were only sold in Europe(and possibly Canada, as I Purchased one from a Canadian some years ago.). At one time I have owned every INCA machine except the Lathe and 3000 Jointer/Planer - all are excellent machines, high quality and accuracy.
SPECIAL NOTES ON THE 10.5' Bandsaws
The INCA 10.5' Bandsaws MODEL NUMBERS are 342.186.xx
xx=03, 04, 06, and 07 have direct drive motors. The parts list identifies 4 different voltage/HP direct drive motors.
*****. The USA MODEL is the 330, which was fitted with a 6/10th HP 110volt motor
xx=01,02, 05 do not have motors. They have different pulleys, a 'V' belt pulley and 2 flat belt pulleys.
****** The USA MODEL is the 310. This model had a 'v' pulley and optional motor.
xx=10 This is a special model that is driven by an Electrical Drill.
***** The USA MODEL is the 320. There is a flexible coupling and two steel rods, with a bracket to hold the drill.
The INCA EURO260 has in INCA Model Number also 342.186. However no 2 digit suffex is listed in the manual. The MANUAL from Garret Wade has 'Model 340' printed above the ero260 designation on the front cover. The only difference I have been able to find, is that it appears the 340 is a late model made in France. The technical specifications for the 330 and 340 are identical. The parts lists have different numbers for the plastic front cover, the optional dust collector, the front cover knobs, and a different suffex for the main casting. The 340 (Euro260) have Blue paint on the main casting, and the plastic parts are also BLUE.
