This Software Requires Macos Version 10.13 0

Mac OS 10.12.6 is good enough to run Office 2019 build 16.29.1, which is the build that came out just prior to the release of Mac OS 10.13 Catalina. I'm not quite sure what version you have at the moment. If it is not 16.29.1 then do the following: Uninstall Office for Mac - Office Support. Then, download and install the 16.29.1 build of Office. @ keg55; on attempt of trying a 'Direct' installation to Mojave the mac responses that I need to have High Sierra vers. 10.13.6 already installed. I cannot INSTALL the 10.13.1 vers I have!! Also this: To install macOS High Sierra, a firmware update is required. The first release of the new OS — Mac OS X Server 1.0 — used a modified version of the Mac OS GUI, but all client versions starting with Mac OS X Developer Preview 3 used a new theme known as Aqua. Aqua was a substantial departure from the Mac OS 9 interface, which had evolved with little change from that of the original Macintosh operating.

It's quite possible your computer is too old to upgrade past Lion, but if you can then El Capitan will probably be your limit.

Upgrading to El Capitan

You can upgrade to El Capitan from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. El Capitan can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for FREE.

To upgrade to El Capitan you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Download El Capitan from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. El Capitan is free. The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.

Upgrading to Lion

If your computer does not meet the requirements to install El Capitan, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.

You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
